Good Neighbor Horse and Hound
Sitting Services and More!
Why a pet sitter?

Having animals is a full time
commitment and most of us wish we
had more time to spend with them. I
know from experience that taking a
vacation or time off work can be
impossible for a horse or pet owner.
Whether you’re away for business or
pleasure, Good Neighbor will give you
peace of mind that your horses and
pets will be taken care of in the
comforts of your own home.

What I do.

I not only offer horse and pet care, feeding, and
exercise at your home, but also those other
things you don’t want to do, can’t get time off
work for, or simply need an extra hand with.. I
can help with Veterinary and Horse shoeing
appointments, mid-day medications or foot
soakings, a trip to the groomer of your choice, or
your personal assistant at a horse show. See
the list for the services I offer and if you don’t
see it on the list-ask, I may be able to do it!
Coverage area.
Good Neighbor Horse and
Hound is available in
Stanwood, North Snohomish
County (Lake Goodwin area
and north), and South Skagit
County. Due to time and travel
surrounding areas will be on a
case by case basis for an
additional fee depending on
availability.
Experience

I started Good Neighbor Horse and Hound because I myself have relied on a good neighbor to
feed and watch my horses and pets over the years. I found I spend what should be relaxing
vacation time worrying about the health and safety of my pets and the caretaker! Even working a
full time job can be guilt ridden if you have a pet that has to be crated all day, or a horse that needs
turn out or exercise. I have over 25 years experience with horses of all shapes and sizes, and I
have done everything from 10+ years as a 4-H horse club member and leader to Competitive Trail,
Combined Carriage Driving, Gaming, and the Show Ring. I have had dogs and cats for all of my
life, taken many obedience courses with my own dogs, and worked in Small Animal Veterinary
clinics for over 10 years. I also have owned and have experience with Exotic Birds, Tropical Fish,
Chickens, Goats, and Cattle.
